About
This site is an informational website where people can learn about the male culture, and how culture influences the literature we read as a child. Literature helps one find their own cultural identity.
Throughout this website you will see the interview I had with a male and his opinion on the his own culture represented in books that he has read as a child, and how it influenced his own culture identity. You will also see many books that are categorized as a representation of the male society along with summaries that explain each book. I also provide the history of the male cultural society and how that represents this particular culture in children's literature from the past to now. I also provide my own reflection on this project and what I have learned along with the challenges I have faced. Provided is my contact information and a works cited from all the primary sources that i have used. I chose to focus on the male culture because that is one of which I am not a part of. Even though some may argue that women are apart of the male culture because we can live with them, change our biological form to become one, or may even think that we are one within in the human body. That is a whole other discussion worth talking about, but i cannot get into that right now. The audience that I want for my project are that of teachers and students; so that they can learn what I have learned throughout this process.
